Your Personal Gallery
The Engineering's Got Talent Exhibition takes place in the HUB Alumni Hall. We will have fake walls set up which you can pin or tape your paintings, drawings, photos, graphic designs etc. For other forms such as framed photos, framed paintings, sculptures, crafts, etc., we will have tables that you can display on, or lean against. You will be assigned with some space on the day of Exhibition, and you can create your own gallery style.
For photography, we provide limited large photo poster prints, 20 of 11" by 14", 20 of 12" by 18", 20 of 16" by 20", and 20 of 20" by 30". After you submit your photos, we will judge which photos stand out for the large photo poster prints. 80 is a large number so many would make the cut. However, in the case where your photos are not picked for large prints, be aware that you can still participate but you have to make your own collage poster out of the photos and we will have 40 regular poster quota. You can also print your own photos if you wish.
Performance
Singing, dancing, stand-up comedy, special skills, instruments, feature films, bands, theatrical plays, etc.
Your Starry Stage
The Engineering's Got Talent Performance takes place in the HUB Heritage Hall. Everything needed for you to shine is provided, the sound system, microphones, light, projector, computer, etc. All you need to do is to let your talents go and amaze us with your awesomeness! For different acts, we know there are different needs equipment-wise so let us know when you sign up and we will try our best to provide you a starry stage.
Typically there is an audition as there is a limit for how many acts we can have for the night. But we will try our best to accommodate your talents because we know it's something worth showing off! Please refer to the updates page for more information.
